Did you know that students can send their Ask My Teacher notifications to your email?
Ask My Teacher is a great way for student-teacher communication. It allows you to see exactly what assignment or problem your student is having. You can forward message notifications to your email address to ensure you don’t miss any student’s questions.
Pro Tip: Set up online office hours to inform your students when you will be available to help with assignments. This will make sure you are available to answer students’ questions and reduce the need to be ‘always available’ to them.
Did you know that you can ask questions from outside your textbook?
You’re in luck if you’re looking for additional questions beyond the ones provided by your textbook. You can add a variety additional questions, assessments, and more to your course for no cost.

Did you know that you can save time and copy your course for the next semester?
Copy your course to get ahead of the next semester. Create a new course, then click the Copy option in the pop-up window. Select the course you wish to copy. You can also customize the course information you wish to copy, such as instructor access, assignments, and gradebook settings.
Tip: You can also use the process to copy another instructor’s course. Just make sure they have granted you access.

Did you know that you can update your textbook without losing your course settings and assignments?
You don’t have to recreate your entire course or assignments just to update your textbook to a new version. You can easily create a course using the Textbook Edition Update tool for most titles. This tool allows you to keep the same course settings and assignments as the previous edition.
First, check if your title is in a new edition. To use this tool, create new courses and click ‘Copy Assignments From Existing Course’. If a new textbook edition has been released, you’ll see a yellow update notification next to your course. After your course has been copied, an Edition Update button will appear. This button allows you to upgrade to the most recent version. If the new edition contains revised questions, they will be automatically updated in your assignments.

Did you know that you can lower the lowest score of your students in the gradebook?
Do you want to increase your class’ average by dropping the lowest quiz or homework score of each student? You can remove each student’s lowest assignment score from the WebAssign Gradebook.
Navigate to the WebAssign Gradebook settings, and select the assignment category. Next, enter the number you wish to drop in the “Drop lowest category Assignments” box. You can also identify which assignments cannot be dropped. You might want to exclude the final or midterm exams if you drop the lowest test score.
Did you know that you can add credit to WebAssign?
WebAssign can be used to give students the chance to complete extra credit assignments or to award students extra points for going above-and-beyond. Create an assignment to create an extra credit activity. Next, go to your gradebook settings and select ‘count extra credit’.
Alternativly, you can use the automatic point adjustments to add bonus points to existing assignments. You can save time by using a pre-created assignment from your Course Packs. Save time by using a pre-created assignment in your Course Packs to earn extra credit.
Did you know that you can download a printed report of student grades?
You can download your student’s grades to excel and print them. This makes reporting at the end and mid-term much easier. You will find the task section under “Tasks” in the left hand column.
