You can take Microsoft Exams Online. Yes, You Can!
Microsoft is expanding its online proctored exams to cover the changing IT certification landscape. This means that more people can become Microsoft Certified Professionals from their office or home. Although initially Microsoft IT proctored exams could only be found in the United States, 20 additional countries were added by Microsoft earlier this month. MCP and MTA exams now are available in the following countries: Australia, Brazil, Chile. Colombia, Egypt. Finland, Ireland. Kenya. Malaysia. Peru. Philippines. Russia. Singapore. South Africa. Sweden. Switzerland. Thailand.
The next wave of expansion will be in 2015 and will include the following markets: Canada (China), England, France, Germany and India.
The video below, which was filmed by Microsoft, will tell you everything you need about MCP/MTA online proctored exam. They are not easy and you cannot cheat. A proctor will ask you rotate a camera around the room before the exam starts. Candidates will be asked to remove posters/calendars and any other papers from their walls. Your camera will be enabled for the entire exam and you will be monitored by a proctor. Microsoft online proctored exam are the same as traditional tests in the testing center in terms of security and candidate management. Learn more:
This option is available to those who live far away from the testing center, or simply want to take the exam at home. Follow the instructions on Microsoft’s website to register. You’ll be able to choose ‘online proctored.’
